Great News!! The Colored Musicians Club Embarks on an Initiative. 

The future looks very bright for the Colored Musician Club as it seeks to preserve and share its collection. Having received its Act of Incorporation in 1935; designation as an historical landmark in 1979; and designation as an historical preservation site in 1999, the club has a very rich and significant history. We hope to create a multi-media archive where the current collection can made be available to scholars, researchers and the general public. 

Help us in our development of the CMC Museum. We are currently looking for:

• Memorabilia from the club (photos, audio, artifacts, musical instruments

• Your memories and stories (letters, interviews)
